me i usually use 2 man under drop de into flats and whoever is covering the hb/fb into purple zones and qb spy the mlb or hook zone him....spread the safeties...individual bump and spotlight someone...

Honestly I don't run it much, I'd rather have the lineman trying to pressure the QB. If they get a hit on him he could throw up a duck for an easy INT, risk vs. reward.

I do drop a lineman into coverage here and there or use a spy, or if my opponent is running back real far with the QB I'll send a CB blitz and drop my slower lineman into coverage (they won't get to him anyway). But most of the time I want those lineman going for the sack or containing a rollout (love the contains with defensive ends, or flat zones so I can switch and go after the QB).

The times I do like to drop a lineman into coverage is if my opponent likes hook routes (DE on a purple), quick slant to slot receiver (DE or DT in yellow zone), short route with the RB over the middle (yellow zone), quick pass to the TE (yellow or red if he likes the quick streak, flat zone if he likes the quick out), or screens (contain with the DE, flat zone with the DT).

I've done it out of the 2-4-5, put the 2 DT's in a zone. I haven't done it online yet only in practice.
