I actually realized that after I wrote it. But the "theory" argument is also used for things we aren't agree on right now. Like evolution.

You still haven't answered my question about posting a WWS!

I don't see what acidity effect on rain has anything to do with global warming of greenhouse gases, Rico. I mean I see your trying to make a comparison that low numbers can have effects but in this case it is not very applicable.

In any case shouldn't we enter the problem with a blank sheet? We are of course dealing with different circumstances.

My point is that Mankind CAN cause changes in the environment through His actions. And that Mankind can also stop and reverse those same changes.

I hope everyone can agree that greenhouse gases can theoretically cause global warming. With that said, let's all just stfu and cut back on how much we contribute to greenhouse gases.

I will speak as I feel necessary. This sounds like a man in defeat.

I know mankind can change the environment. I said I recognized that earlier and the point is that cutting back on CO2 won't change anything because the effect is MINIMAL.

I am only in defeat if the vast majority of people who study this for a career disagree with me. Which they don't.

How do you want someone to refute you? That requires an expert opinion. No one on here is an expert on climate change (including you) so it's a moot excercise in circle jerks. You say we're contributing to greenhouse gases but at a rate that has absolutely no observable effect on climate. That is a SERIOUSLY minority opinion among experts. Not sure how much more we can do to refute it. Unless you want to wait 10+ years for one of us to become an expert.

A sheep is someone who knows his own limitations and respects the fact that an expert (or community of experts) might have a more accurate theory about something than a lay person? Am I a sheep b/c I put my son in a rear-facing car seat when he was a newborn, even though it wasn't my idea?

That would be true, GT, if I blindly accepting them. I actually researched this myself though and as I said I debated this very topic in school and won. That is why I am confident in my debate.

You haven't showed me anything Rico. If my argument is so asinine and silly you must be able to take me down... well I'm waiting.

What if someone told you to put your son facefoward because everyone said to do it that way, yet it was wrong?

Human beings are an incredible species. Use your brains, see how far you can go. If you accept limitations then I feel sorry for you guys.

I haven't shown you anything. You won a debate with that grammar?

I think the fact that me and 2 other people saying the exact same thing should at least hint to you that possibly we know what we're talking about. Deferring to expert opinion is NOT being a sheep. Didn't we just have this discussion??? Some people never learn.

Truth is not in numbers Rico, truth is the truth. I am sorry you have not realized this. You seem intelligent but you must break free and think for yourself.

I hope you come to your senses, but until then I wish you well.
