Huge problem with E.A and Q.B's

Now I know this is a major issue and there are things that really need to be addressed here. 1st matter to tend to....

- throwing on the run makes certain Q.B's more accurate then Q.B's standing in the pocket.... FACT! This is truly ridiculous. You can throw 60 yard darts perfectly over your WR's shoulder on the run but over throw a guy by 20 yards standing in the pocket. Now other then some (running with the Q.B) Pat White should be almost unusable. I also say this without prejudice because after the update Sanchez is money on the run and piss poor standing in the pocket.

The Pat Whites,T. Jacks,Vicks, Vince Youngs of madden are just an abysmal abomination of perception from E.A. I'm absolutely digusted and surprised this hasn't been brought up on these boards.

Remember Tony Romo last year?... they butchered him for the first 6 months of 09. He went from Kyle Boller to Drew Brees in a matter of months. One minute he was horrible to use, the next minute he's just lights out.

E.A needs to find some common ground with these Q.B attributes. How can they get this THIS wrong?

Now all of the sudden Peyton Mannings ratings are screwed up? hahaha..

E.A has done it again folks.

What EA needs to do is add more ratings...Like throw on the run short, mid, deep

Becuz Pat White is a beast on throw on the run short and ok mid...But deep he should suck

I noticed that as soon as Vick came on the scene.

I think the problem is the throw on the run stat doesnt have any idea how deep the pass goes.

WF thats a good idea for a short,med an deep throw on the run stat.But it could also be fixed if they scaled back on the effectiveness of the throw on the run stat itself.

I mean nobody should be able to run full speed an hit a perfect deep corner or post route.

What irks me is when the QB, such as Kurt Warner, sprints backwards, then jumps, does some sort of triple lutz, then fires a bullet to the WR. So unrealistic.

I noticed this right away, great post Mello.

If a QB's TOR stat is 90, then he should be about 90% of his PACC while on the run....So if he's say 80 PACC and 90 TOR then he should be around 70-75 PACC while on the run...

Rather...in Madden, if your QB has an 80 PACC and a 90 TOR then when running his PACC is 90.

what you forgot to mention was the PA they just do what i call roll glitching roll out to one side then wait for coverage breaks down.


or hike the ball PA to the flats or just keep the ball and run so annyoing contains and any flat zones are worthless.

OH how about when you have a good blitz and you have the QB dead to rites then he falls back wards throws a pass 50 yards down field yea that is realistic


I really dont like playing the game that much any more


I wish they would bring back the QB vision that would solve 80% - 90% of all these stupid problems

You never needed Q.B vision to throw in the flats. You could have the cone upfield and still throw to the flats, so thats kind of a moot point.

they could fix it so u need vision to throw to the flats but i was not just saying that to fix the flats it would fix alot of other things thats wrong with the game

with the cone people could not just hike the ball run straight back and throw bullets down field

I wish that PA would be null and void on anything over 3rd and say 3....Last night...3rd and like 13..PA, freeking safeties and LB's all freeze/bait. Dumb.

u think that is crazy how about im in my 2 min D the fuy is loseing by 4 i call dollard cover 3 and back every one off the line he calls HD off tackle in goal line .


he was calling that play all game, any way how about all my etire D got sucked in and he ran it back for TD I won the game because i ran the kick off back for a td but thats all a bunch of bs


yea really you can just play action your way down the field all game long

I agree with this its annoying when you have some in 3rd and 10 or even 4th and 5 and they bait for playaction. Its like you always have to user blitz to even get the qb on all play actions. Kinda boring.

i think it sucks when the qb sprints back 20 yards and heaves it 70 yards in the air. I have been watching football for 25 yrs and never seen that before

Its not his ratings though, but rather just HIM. His ratings seem to be fine, he's just putting them in the stands on go routes and leading them by 5 yards on posts and crossing routes.

man you should try delehomme.........yeah i know he sucks in real life but,,, his passes are truley ridiculous.... even in practice,,, his throws are 10 times worse than in real life... ive been in the pocket w/ all the time in the world not under pressure and threw to an open reciever and his throw goes ten feet away to a ready defender..... its ridiculous... but i do agree with these updates there needs to be common ground.....

That's why I use McCown when I run the Panthers. I am fairly accurate with him and he has a quick release. Too bad the Panthers suck at WR after Smith. I end up having to put Goodman at WR just to get some SPD in my spread sets.
