Medical Redshirts

hey i was just wondering if there has been any discussion about having an option that would allow you to medically redshirt a player if he gets hurt during dynasty mode online/offline and will be out for the rest of the year. Or I believe the NCAA rule is if you have played 3 games or less you are eligible to get a medical redshirt year...correct me if I'm wrong. But say if a guy gets hurt the second game of the year and will be out for say 9-10 weeks. That could be an option to get a medical redshirt year, it would be able to save how much you are recruiting for next year in a way too.

To add to the injured players during a dynasty online/offline. Maybe you could have options on how to manage your injured players. This would be useful especially if its a big game coming up for you. When you have guys that are probable or questionable or whatever, just go to your injuries page and select the player, and press A or which ever button, and have it give you options on what you want to do with that player. For example if you have a key lineman in your starting rotation, (you have an undefeated season and playing for the chance for a national championship) and your guy is probable for that game coming up. have a list of options on that page asking whether you want to play him or how much you want to play him, say like 1, 2, 3 or 4 quarters.

Just throwing it out there, hope this gets a lot of discussion and interest. Just kinda making it a little more realistic as far as the injuries and stuff goes which could help with recruiting and how you want to manage each week of the season.

You can apply for a medical redshirt if the player has never been previously redshirted for any reason, and that will save his eligibility. However, if he has been redshirted and then gets injured, you aren't given the option to redshirt him again.
