Different Play Modes yield different blitz success rates

Hey Craig...I find that there are different success rates for plays depending upon what mode you are playing in. When I am in practice mode these blitzes work awesome but when I go to the CPU it is like the computer is cheating and reads all my stuff and NONE of my blitzes work either (usually anyway). However, I do notice a significant increase in the success of my blitzes when playing against live opponents. I am assuming that when these guys are posting blitzes they are ususally for human vs. human competition.

I know what you mean...the computer is really hard to blitz against...at least as not as successful as online anyway.

Ok.In fact I've seen the Jets run this scheme vs.New England Sunday.Only from the mind of Rex Ryan that formation like this could be this good.A 46 package with a Nickel set-up

That has been a Madden staple the CPU will find ways to cheat.Example: I was playing with Atlanta using the Jets D-book.I called 46 Normal Cover 1 using the speed package & I was playing vs.Miami.I hit sticked Ronnie Brown & the CPU shrugged it off like it ain't no tomorrow & then when I went to tackle him again,he put his hand up & ran 55 yards for the TD.I won 30-7,but I was ticked off that Miami's total offense stat was 175 yards,I shut Pennin gton down by sacking him 6 times & intercepting him 4,fumbled 3 times & finished with 102 yds passing,Brown on the other hand was a different story

I am no expert by far but the zone blitzes that work best for me are the Inside Zone Blitz, SS Zone Blitz and the Cover2 Sink in that order. I usually make a quick tweek by placing the MLB just off the right hip of the lineman (there is only one) and reblitz him, also reblitz the lineman and if I have enough time I also move the RILB in front of the LG. This should make the LG pick up the RILB when the ball is snapped so your MLB can go though easily.

Dollar Formation

Daone, got a question.. In the Dollar formation you say rush the LoLB, however in that formation there are only the 2 mlbs. There are CB's where the OLBS line up. Were you referring to the LILB or the LCB lined up at the LOLB position? By the way, thank you for this
