What does this rating say about a player?

What do you mean the A,B.C.D.F around the player name..

I stands for how good can this player be. Take Chad Henne for instant he is a 72 overall but he is an A potential. If you play good as a season or two goes by he might be 90 overall.

As for a B player such as Pat white he might be able to go up to just the high 80's and thats about it.

Correct. Regardless of their play, their overall is based on potential.
