Week 2 League Advancement: Important News

We are going to advance the league Monday Night. The reason is because of the MGL weekend that is going on. Phillyron is the lead writer for the MGL this weekend and can't get his game in until he gets back Monday Night. I talked to Rob today and we both agree it wouldn't be fair to either owner (Phillyron or BURRITO BANDIDO) to sim the game since both want to play. Also Bills and Bucs owners have been trying to play their game, but for some reason can not connect. Hopefully this extra 2 days will give them a chance to play their game out. Finally, HarlemAL2 and I are working on getting our game in. We both had conflicting schedules. Hopefully we can get our game in today at some point. We don't want to make this a habit as far delaying week advancement, but this week we will make an exception. What we like to see is as soon as we advance to week 3, we can get all games played quickly and get back on schedule.

Thanks,
Kobra

I used to have connection issues against specific players, but I opened ports on my wireless router - and haven't had any problem since. Google XBox 360 and opening ports. It will tell you which numbers to open. As far as how, go to your router's website and you can find out how there.

Here is some info on ports.

I thought the guys tried to go from modem straight into Xbox. If not that's another option to try.

Take a look at this site:
http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm

look up your router model, then find madden, and follow the instructions.
there are certain ports that madden and the PSN need to be forwarded. Most new routers will do this automagically for us, but some routers dont do it or they do it partially.

The game manual has the ports it needs:
TCP Ports: 80, 443, 13220-13229 (for lobby), 9950-9974 and 9980-9989 (for Telemetry), 14200-14219, 25050-25059
UDP Ports: 9570, 3659, 6000, 3658 (peer to peer port)

It also has this tidbit:
"If you are having difficulty connecting to other players online and your internet connection is behind a router using NAT, you may need to enable port forwarding on your router by forwarding all data on ports UDP 3659 and UDP 6000 to the IP address of your PS3. Alternatively, you can put your router (they mean your PS3 on your router) into a DMZ - please consult your router help files for details on how to do this."

I was winning the game and he did some stupid play that made the game disconnect. Does anyone know how to do this?
