I'm done. EA is just plain WRONG for this...

Until the fix Petyton (hopefully in the "next" roster update around what...Thanksgiving) I'm through with Madden. If they can hijack one of the most accurate passers in the game and have him thrown nothing but Rocketballs, they can do this to ANYONE.

Even the beloved Tom Brady.

Its wrong I say...JUST WRONG!!!!

Maybe they've done this since they for some reason will not put you on the guy closest to the ball when trying to defend a pass. For some reason the icon is always placed on a guy 10 yards behind the play. Maybe this equals out the difference? I have yet this year to figure out the logic by not letting you manually defend a pass in zone coverage.

That's my point. Right now, Alex Smith is more accurate then Peyton is. I'M SERIOUS. There's REALLY something wrong with this guy now. He's CONSISTENTLY throwing like Brett Farve back in the early days.

Just check it out...you'll see what I mean.

What about him? That seems true to life huh? JaMarcus is just plain horrible it isn't funny.

I agree, Peyton isn't Peyton ATM.

I've seen this with Manning, Brady, and other QBs that fall in their style of play, if you are moving and throwing on the, run, they are highly inaccurate. If you throw while set, then more accurate. On the the hand, if you throw with Pat White on the run, highly accurate, if set, not so accurate. Since many of us throw on the run, Manning, Brady, Palmer all suffer from the same inaccurate throws.

But Alex Smith and Russel aren't Peyton Manning thats the thing. It's totally uncalled for. However to say your done because of this is just plain dumb. Use someone else.

LOL I was gonna say same things...what about JMR he is the worse quarterback to ever start a NFL game I beleive that not just saying that. Tom Cable better give ryan leaf a call because I would take leaf over JMR.

I'm really beginning to think that some guys are overreacting because they aren't used to the mechanics of Lead Passing. After all the years of Precision Passing's mechanics people's muscle memory is using the left stick to throw passes HIGH, where Lead Passing causes those balls to go deeper downfield. Instead, button pressure helps the balls go high...

Stick = depth of pass. You're throwing to a spot on the field

Button pressure = Trajectory & Speed. Tap for high lob passes, PRESS for bullets on a rope.

They may be throwing bullets and leading them too far up the field out of habit...

Mind you I've NEVER used Peyton Manning... But if Jake Delhomme can be accurate with the current system, it can't be EA. It's gotta be the users doing something wrong inadvertantly.

I'm so GLAD I never got used to Precision Passing...

Later

I'm not trying to sound mean, but why don't you try a different team? Also i played with Peyton manning today, and he was very accurate. He only threw rocket balls when i was on the run, running away from a blitz. Otherwise, he was usual peyton.

Ok, I MAY have overreacted a bit...

But that was to bring attention to the issue at hand. And YES, I have used other QB's, I'm actually a Niners Fan by trade and up until the end of last year...I used to get my arse handed to me when I tried to use them. So when Garcia and T.O. left (yes I know MANY moons ago) I started to use Peyton N' Friends because their defense was always in question, so up until they got the Bob Sanders of the world no one really called me a cheeser. Sure I dabbled with my Niners from time to time, but to no avail. I like to win and it wasn't like I came with the PATRIOTS or something, everybody knows the Colts are good, but they're got some GLARING flaws.

Now that I've got that out of my system. I do need to point out that I am dead serious when I say that it really is Peyton. And its not when he's running or because I don't know how to use lead passing. These passese were dead on as recent as the last update. Now all of a sudden, crossing and drag routes to like 5 YARDS ahead of the guy. And I'm not kidding when I say that go routes are going into the stands. I can't even throw a post or a seam pattern anymore because its a guaranteed pic to the saftey.

I'm really not kidding people...Alex Smith is REALLY more accurate than Peyton right now. Its downright freaky. Go into Practice Mode with the Colts...hell use your own playbook if you have to. It will really feak you out!!!

I really do not want this thread to become about how I reacted. I'm truly trying to get this situation fixed. If you have any other sudden abberations concerning folks on the game, feel free to include them. This one just seems to stand out because he's supposed to be one of the BEST QBs on the game.

You cry too much man. I'd put the game down if I were you. Your looking way into it. Just drop the sticks.
