I used the Giants playbook all last year and I did alright. I liked the I-form stuff.

This year Im going with the west coast.

I use the Run Balanced playbook, I have heard some people say it's horrible but it fits my style perfectly.

Well it works better with reggie cuz he's a running back who is a good reciever, but just placing hester around the formations will do.

For a while I thought it was Pitt's, but after labbing Houston's I have reconsidered. So again hit up this thread & let me know what PB's, in your opinion, are the most underrated & why(offense &,or, defense).
I like baltimore's offense. theres a good mixture of pass and run. Also pass balance, but that's becoming one of the popular playbooks too

Giants playbook is underrated. Has more counters/misdirection runs in all of the formations than any other PB. Your opponent will never know what coming, and you can make him pay for over selling to one side.

If you know how to run an under center timing offense, you are loaded with singleback and pro sets, with a **** load of PA.

Giants playbook is good, but it's very similar to Oakland's - and Oakland's is better.

They are VERY similar... but I wouldn't call one better than the other. It depends what you are trying to do.

Oakland gives you SB snugs, wildcat and I form close.....

New York gives you I form tight, SB Jumbo (AWESOME) SB ace pair and SB ace pair twins, and has more running variety throughout the book.

NY's book is great if you have 2 te's, as NY does.

The Giants' book is missing a few key plays that can't be recreated.

I feel the same way when looking at Oakland, but that's because I use the NY playbook and know some good plays that I like to run.

I like Spot dig out of SB Bunch, and PA Boot RT out of strong... just to name a couple.

What plays do you like that are missing out of NY?

...Texas, the SB Big Twins Power is better than the Pitch, the pass plays out of Strong I Twin TE.

I think The Giants have Texas in 4 formations.....

I've never run Power myself, but the HB pitch out of SB twin is one of my top outside plays.

There is no formation called strong twin te, its strong tight pair.... both PB's have it, and have the same plays. THe only difference is Oakland has the Drive pass play, and NY has a devastating toss.

I really like this book. formations are shotty tight, shotty bunch te, shotty 2 back, str i tight pair, sb bunch, shotty trips, and i form twins. I really like it because you have spread, passing compression, pwr running compression, and wr screens

I think the Texans playbook is my favorite right now. It has some nice Close formations, and has a bunch of crossing post routes. Also, what I like, are that some of the routes have routes that follow the 1st route, which can really mess with user LB's. There are some nice routes from playaction that will leave a WR all by himself on some drag posts.

The only downside to the Texans playbook, is that there are no WR screens.
