I just threw up in my mouth a little.
The AI....

Here I thought they were trying to get Madden AWAY from the ridiculous Nano blitzes and RC catches.

Oh well.

Here's what I've noticed about RC'in on PS3:

- curl routes and stick routes - just lob it up, click on WR, and hit the catch button to go get it.

- deep out route - worked consistently for me when close to sideline. wait for WR to cut toward sideline, lob it up, and u really don't even need to turn the WR around as the AI recognizes its close to sideline and pretty much turns the WR around for you. Same as curl routes - just click on and go up and get it.

- deep C-routes - i've been inconsistent with these. i've performed successfully with Braylon Edwards when he's lined up close to sideline and not within red zone. i usually wait until WR makes cut on "top part" of C-route and is a little close to sideline, pass with no lead, turn (required) and go get it.

- slant out route - seems like the 360 cats can use this one on the regular but i haven't been successful with this at all UNLESS i'm just inside the opponent's 15 yd line. When i'm not inside the 15, the WR cuts up toward the sideline and starts running up field. I've tried pass leading diagonal down toward sideline but can't get him to turnaround quick enough.

- the "NEW" fade route animation - This is DEADLY for redzone TD's. This to me is the way the rocket is supposed to work. Let the WR make the cut toward the sideline, lob the ball up, the WR will turn himself around, jump and go get it.

All you PS3'ers, let me know if you've noticed the same.

A "shoosh"???? I suppose you mean a hard rotating turn instead of just angling the stick down, right?

Anybody know if the LT on ps3 works? How does one throw the outside slant for RCing. I wait too long and QB throws a bomb, wait too short, and it's seems nearly impossible to turn WR around to RC. Help anyone

I can't get the slant out route for sh*t. Anybody have any tips? I'm not sure how to angle it. Every time I pass with no lead, Sanchez/Manning throw it 100 feet over the WRs said and there's no chance in hell I can get it.

I throw the C route by angling the stick down and to the sideline when he starts cutting towards the sideline. Try that.
