I watched the game in amazement.

Moss, Stallworth, and Welker all are bigger playmakers then Harrison, Wayne, and Gonzalez/Clark. Harrison is old, Wayne definitely doesn't make as many crazy plays as Stallworth due to his speed, and Welker is the best slot WR in the league.

You're trying to compare Stallworth to Wayne? Nah man, that's not even close. Wayne is much better.

Red face

Patriots are a great team there is no denying it, but we played the great in the 1st half, they made a great half time adjustment and we just never got the ball rolling. Our secondary just could not get the job done. Brady wasnt pressured as much in the 2nd half and u could see that cause he started to just get the ball were ever he wanted. But to me there is no shame in losing to one of the best teams. All i hear no is that the cowboys were never that great and just overhyped. Well they are still a good team and can get the job done when they dont shot themselves in the foot, but not many teams would be able to take out the patriots. I think we could have played better and maybe pulled the upset off, but overall i was sort of happy with the way the boys played. Cant wait to have a full healthy team and maybe not so many penalties and stupid mistakes.

- Our defense, not just the secondary came up short.

- too many dumb penalties

hey, don't sweat what people are saying about the 'Boys; we have a lot of haters on this site . I mean, c'mon, we had Jets fans saying we have no D, and whenever we play a team with an offense we get exposed. lol We played one of the top two teams in the league yesterday and struggled the first game of the year against a team that will be 4 - 2 by nights end. Our D is still learning a new system and we are not at full strength. Hold your head and embrace the haters, I do

Honestly of all teams that I see beating NE come playoff time is Jax. They've impressed me for years with their toughness and I think they could physically beat down the Pats.
I think Brady's more mobile than you think. He's not fast, but he can get out of the pocket if he needs to. I wouldn't recommend taking that away from him.

As for the teams I think that can beat them. If the Jaguars show up to play, I wouldn't put it past them. I think the Colts will have trouble with the Jags next week actually.

jesus, this thread is like the blob .... ***** got huge and just keeps growing

and the worst part is that I'm 110% certain that I could go nuts in it

resisting the urge .... lol

just on the last page alone:

Wayne > Stallworth? - LMAO

one guy has had three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons while fighting guys like Harrison, Edge James, Dallas Clark, Addai for touches, and has not missed a game since his rookie year

the other is sheer evidence that running a 4.2 while being inconsistent in every other category from on the field play to staying on the field, will keep you employed in the NFL lol

geez, it's statements like this ***** above that expose people who've only recently gotten on the band wagon and don't know ***** about the past.

Belicheat's ever-growing resume (for the clueless):

* Having a history of treating his injury report like it's a comic strip
* Being Headcoach of the Jets for a day, and taking quite a bit of $$$$ in the process
* "No Mangini, do not go to the Jets, or I'll hate you -- do as I say."
* Being a douch and avoiding Mangini on the field like he's the plague
* Running up the score on the Jets, and now the 'boys because Phillips was misinterpreted in saying Belicheat's name is tarnished (which it is)
* Refusing to talk to the media or whatever it is that's stuck up his @ss regarding them
* Oh and of course the latest, getting caught CHEATING

Haven't read the entire thread (been out of town) just a few but here's my take and then I'm done.

I'm sure it's possible to have 12 penealties for 98 yards in a game and win just not against a team as good as the Pats, and you all saw it they are very good. This is not an excuse just that situationally the penalties could not have come at a worse time and you can't do that against NE. I was very impressed with thier O but we all knew that going in with thier D not so much. After our first 3 drives of the 2nd half (all 3 and outs) we proceeded from that point on to point whatever firearm was available at our foot and fire. I honestly feel sans penalties and mistakes we can match them offensively we just aren't there yet.

Since Wade can't talk about it without getting fined I will. The TO catch and pushout no call which I'm interested to see if they will break down on the NFL Network and also the interference call in the endzone against Moss. I felt like our guy had a right to that position since he was going for the ball but the refs saw it different.

I would like to think we will meet again in the desert but this a long journey and even as good as NE is right now there is always that one play or injury that will send you home. Not real happy with the loss but now we know we are not as good as I thought we were and you can work with that. Better to find out now then later like in the playoffs.
