Using the Madden Tips playbook app we will break down a play each day through the Madden NFL 13 season.
One thing that I love about this playbook is how the TE on the line of scrimmage is on a vertical delayed route. So many delayed routes release to the flat and don’t always pick up positive yards. Take a look at how we hot route this play!
Playbook: Joe Gibbs
Formation: Singleback Bunch Rt Freeze
Our Setup:
- Hot route the B receiver to a zig route.
- Hot route the Y receiver to a drag.
What’s your setup? Let us know below or talk about it on our forums!

I would zag (Y)
2. fade (A)
3. Drag (B)
4. Block realeas RB
This gives u the man beater with the zag route, user catching ability with Te because of the inside release. Then u have the drag that gets open. Last option would Be corner route. You can also streak or fade this man

Many different ways to hot route this play but off the top of my head I would streak Y and put B on a whip route for the man beater on the right and the zone beater on the left
