New to this year’s Madden game is Dynamic Player Performance. In a nutshell DPP creates a bridge between a player’s ratings and his one field performance. Now confidence plays a factor in how a player performs.
For example, get a player like T.O. several catches early, and he’ll be gold all game long. If he drops a pass or too, then his Drops Open Passes trait kicks in and he might be a troublesome target for the rest of the game. Each position has its own set of traits.
