I do love madden but I am upset about how we have to hit r2 to run faster.I lost my arm 4-9-02 so r2 is kind of hard.I am upset that ya’ll got rid of my play on def out of the nickle 1-5-5 the dt blitz.I will practice the triple option for this year.thanks for the madden tips I’ll always need a hand.lol

Yeah, Auto Strafe and Sprint are defaulted to OFF online and offline. The settings work as long as you save them. (quick links too) I dont think you can change them once online (you could last year) but they still load from menu as long as you saved.
Online play needs to be tweaked…was beating a guy online, he offers to “Friendly Quit”. Well I decline since I won’t get the win…well he gets mad & proceeds to spike the ball EVERY PLAY to prolong the game & messages me to mock me & confirm his childish play…well, when I get the ball, on the 1, I run backward & waste clock to move the game along…well, I get “kicked” for too many delay of games?! WTF?! This has to be fixed?! If someone “Friendly Quits”, there should be NO WAY they can win or be an asshole & prolong the game! PLEASE FIX THIS CRAP!!!

when you play on line backer do you hold right trigger and then hold lt to get your player to strafe and not run commit. I’m in a bad habbit of just holding down and then shifting my line out of the play. Wish they moved it to a different button

Yeah, when I first started I was shifting my D presnap due to Madden 12. It is tougher to strafe as well, make sure to turn it off along with auto turbo in the settings menu.

How do you conduct a slant out on Madden 13?

Slant outs have been removed from 13, its not a zig route. The slant out isnt a real route, you still have the regular slant inside though.
