Madden Tips Morning Kickoff

Kick off your Madden Tips morning with Jacqueline of the Seattle Sea Gals!

I like Jacque’s advice – be fearless. You have to be. In this dog-eat-dog world you gotta be a go-getter. You gotta not fear to be great.

Oh, did I forget to mention – the Madden NFL 13 playbooks are out and you can view them here!

I should also mention that yes, Spider 2 Y Banana is in the game, and no, you shouldn’t throw late on the backside.

Occupation:  Student

High School:  Kentridge High School (Renton, WA)

College: Bellevue College

Major or Degree:  Business Administration/Marketing

Years as a Sea Gal:  Rookie

Dance Background: I performed and competed with a dance studio for almost eight years and was trained in jazz, hip-hop, tap, ballet, lyrical, and contemporary dance. I was captain of both my middle school and high school dance teams and was honored to make the 2012 Sea Gals right after graduation. I have also been a dance instructor teaching jazz/hip-hop classes and worked as an intern/assistant for Elite Performance Dance Camps.

Hobbies: Since I was young, I have always loved to sing. I grew up singing with my church music ministry and also had the privilege of singing the national anthem at an awards ceremony held at the Qwest Field Event Center. I also love taking dance classes, teaching dance, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

Major Goal I Have Met:  As a captain on my high school dance team, I was able to play a large role in helping lead our team to taking home two State Championship titles in one year for the first time ever in our team’s 32-year history. Our team had put several hours into preparing for the championships, and it was a defining moment for our squad because our hard work and dedication had finally paid off.

Best Experience: One of my most memorable experiences was having the chance to take a class from Emmy Award–winning choreographers Tabitha and Napoleon from So You Think You Can Dance. They are both amazing dancers, choreographers, and people and it was an incredible experience dancing with them.

How I Stay Fit: Dancing, cardio workouts, weight training, and running.

Best Advice: The best advice I have been given is to be fearless. Always try new things and put yourself out of your comfort zone so that you won’t be holding yourself back from amazing opportunities in life. Never be scared of any situation that life may throw at you because everything happens for a reason and you will end up exactly where you were meant to be.

Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: The best part of being a Sea Gal is having the opportunity to be part of an amazing group of women who share the same love of dancing and performing. It is an honor to represent the Seahawks organization and play an active role in the community. I am looking forward to dancing on game days this fall and performing at Century Link Field for the loudest fans in the NFL! Go Hawks!
