Who watched MNF last night? YIKES. At this point I get why the call went the way it did. According to what they saw and what they ruled it (a simultaneous catch) they got the call right.
The difficult part of all this is the fact that we are all looking for areas where we can point fingers at the refs and just blame the game on them.
I went through this Sunday night. During the game and directly after the game I was screaming and yelling that we lost because of the refs. After some soul-searching I realized it wasn't the refs that cost the Patriots that game. The Patriots lost the game. They had two opportunities on offense and two opportunities on defense to win that game with 7 minutes to go. They couldn't close. End of story.
Yeah, the refs are missing calls, and I hope the league can get the officials back on the field as quickly as possible, but the Packers shouldn't have put themselves in that situation in the first place if they were the better team.
