Madden Tips Weekly Wrap-Up

Another week is in the books and here is a highlight of the Top 5 articles from this week. I want to note that, yes, I (SGibs) may have predicted that the Giants would get steamrolled by the Panthers, but I also covered myself...

I started the Giants defense against ZFarls in fantasy this week: 16 points FTW. DUH.

Let that be a lesson — always give yourself an out. If the Giants had lost and gotten smoked by the Panthers, then forget about fantasy because when the Giants lose it's a good day. However, if by some random luck they give up only 7 points to Cam Newton and the Panthers then I also win by using them as my fantasy defense.

Win-win situation.

Now, here are the Top 5 articles from the week that was...

  1. TWIM #73
  2. How to Beat Man-to-Man Coverage in Madden NFL 13
  3. Morning Kickoff with Ashley
  4. How to Beat Zone Coverage in Madden NFL 13
  5. The Great Debate: Pressure vs Coverage

The list should be flipped. Meaning TWIM #73 should be #5 and the Great Debate should be #1. I have yet to learn the technology of WordPress to understand how to make those numbers flip.

Ah heck, who cares? It's the weekend! Happy gaming!

P.S. Don't forget about the Virgin Gaming GOTW Challenge Series tomorrow. It starts at 3PM EST/12PM PT.

Double P.S. GO PATS: 18-1

  1. I haven’t owned a madden nfl game before, but I sometimes play it with family. I don’t completely understand the offensive routes, but I do know that Desean Jackson, WR for the Eagles, will outrun any corner and basically turn a short pass play into a 70 yard run
