Madden 08 NG - 46 Bear 2 Man Under

Quick Set Up:

Step 1. Shift the linebackers to the right.
Step 2. Hot route the LE to blitz.
Step 3. Hot Route the SS to blitz.

The 46 Bear 2 Man Under is one of more common based plays called in Madden 08. With only a four man pass rush, it may not always supply the type of pass rush one might want. For this setup, we will show you how to get A Gap heat from the SS.

Shift the linebackers to the right.

Then, hot route the LE to blitz.

Next, hot route the SS to blitz

As viewed from above, here is the 46 Bear 2 Man Under setup.

Once the ball is snapped, the WDT will engage the LG and the SDT will engage the C.

This creates a gap for the SS between the C and LG.
