Madden CG - 4WR Spread Lions Corner

Lions Corner is one of the plays that I like to use in more than one set such as the 4WR Spread Set and Trips WR Set. As we get deeper into the Spread Attack Guide you will see that there are multiple plays that can be used to create different looks but its the same play. This helps you on offense buy saving audibles.

What I want you to do is put Lions Corner into your audible's or if your using another book it will be called WR Corner.

Now I like to use this play for people that like to call man bump and run and move there corners inside to take away the quick slants. This play is perfect for that.

We audible to the play and extend the FL and SE Routes and then pull the HB route from whatever set you come out in before you audible. There is a section in the Spread Attack Guide that tells you how to pull HB routes make sure you check it out.

This is what you will see when you have someone that pulls the WR inside and call press coverage.

As the WR comes off the bump he leaves the corner behind.

Once we see this we throw him the ball.

Once he catches the ball it will be about a 15 yard gain up field with fast WR it will be a TD at times.

Now on the other side of the field you will see the same thing with the WR and the Corner.

Remember once he gets that step we throw him the pass.

Now if you have a RB going to the flats vs press coverage he will be open as well.

LT catches the ball and turns the corner.

A truck stick and still going. This is about 10 yards up field

Final Thoughts

Take this play with the other plays for the deadly 4WR set mix it in with some slants and it's a pain in the you know what. Trust me on that.
