They say it’s just a game, but for some men it’s everything.

“It’s his passion, it’s what he does,” said virtual sideline wife Samantha Jackson.

For the past 7-years, she’s stood alongside Ron Jackson or “Philly Ron,” as he rose to the top, becoming one of Madden’s all time top players.

“I kinda knew what I was getting into at first, but I didn’t know he was going to be this serious about it,” said Jackson.
And Ron’s not alone. The best selling video game attracts players of all ages.

“Guys look at is as an extension of their ability to control a team, as an extension of their so-called former playing careers,” explained Ron Jackson.
