Madden NFL 10 - Play All Franchise - Week 1 Results

I (VG_Bert) am taking on a new challenge this season. My goal is to take on an offline franchise where I play every single game. I downloaded the opening day rosters, and then set up the Franchise to have 32 user controlled teams. I’ll be playing every single game (16 each week).

Settings will be 9 minute quarters with accelerated clock turned on. I am putting some rules in place for myself. I’m not allowed to nano the CPU, and I must play with each team’s own playbook. So if I play a game with the Eagles, I have to use the Philly playbook. In addition, I try to play each team according to the style they use in real life. So for the Falcons, I’m pounding the rock early and often. Aiming for Sim style play as much as possible.

I’m not sure how long I’ll be able to keep it up (I’m running behind already due to the Offensive Coordinator’s guide work this week), but I’m done with Week 1 at least.

I would like to say that I went undefeated, but 5 fumbles by the Steelers (and 2 INTs)  proved to be too much to overcome. So I was 15-1 for the week, lol. I’ve posted results and key stats from Week 1 below.
