Madden NFL is going strong, and this week we’re bringing you all new tips and tricks in this week’s episode of “This Week in Madden”!
During last week’s TWIM, we discussed how to revive the death of the deep ball, feature halfback or committee, and how to win against superior opponents. ZFarls and SGibs played last week’s Game of the Week Qualifer tournament champions, and they were definitely games that you didn’t want to miss. Power running in Tampa is back! Using Tampa Bay could you go thru the gems in the Bucs Playbook utilizing Doug Martin as the starter and Blount as the Spell back. Also, In the past Tampa’s offense has been very west coast but I want to utilize Freeman’s cannon Arm (97 throwing power) and the Speed of some of the new pick ups (Micheal Smith, Roscoe Parrish, Underwood, etc) for play action and vertical throwing. I never had that kinda of speed nor QB arm strength so I’m stuck with the dink and dump mind set.

I am using Starter Pack, spread offense in the Arizona playbook. I am crushing the short game, but am having a hard time getting the ball down field. What plays in the Arizona playbook can I use for longer passes. Thanks!

Guys what do you have against my Steelers, I never hear anything about them on any TWIM?? Can you go through some defensive setups to bring pressure out of the 3-4? Stopping the run with the Lion Def Playbook. Using the Print guide 5 sets, still getting killed. Swapping to CAR Off Playbook for DET as talked about in that vid you guys sent. Great tips in there.

Can you spotlight a receiver on defense in this year’s game and if so how do you do it

I work out of the z-trip formation and use empty chi under as my base play, but my offense has been getting stopped when people run two man under with two buzz zones and a spy and users a guy over the middle. How could i move the chains against this defense? ( I also feel comfortable using gun spread, tight and doubles on when passing, but still have trouble beating the coverage from those also.
