I love sitting back in shotgun and giving the defense my best Brees impression but you know to play effective football you have to make the defense respect your run game. Any tips on running from the shotgun besides the HB Draw?

While playing online, opponents are subbing in injured players what are what is your thought or etiquette on this?

The QB wrap, QB read option, and QB power very annoying to play defense against because nobody play the QB. How would you guys go about defending these three plays? Not just out of panther heavy but the shotgun normal sets because I feel you have to worry about the pass too.

Due to Hurricane Sandy I’ve had nothing but time to lab and I’ve noticed run defense seems to be more effective from nickel packages than from 4-3/46 base packages. Am I just Stir-crazy or am I on to something??

I use the 4-3 playbook when I play online, can you give me some tips on turning the 4-4 formation into a effective defensive scheme? Also, how can I stop the run using the quarters formation?

I was wondering what kind of impact you have on the developers of the game. At what point do you guys come in and start on the strategy guide? Bc I have a huge favor! I want you guys to talk to the developers, and come up with a way where if I have a friend of mine playing and I see he’s down 14-21 in the 4th, I want there to be a way where I can view the game not have any impact but just be able to watch them play. Bc my friends and I are always in parties just playin games and sometimes if rather watch them, rather then them telling me what’s going on? Scale of 1- 1,000,000 what are those chances of that happening?

how do i run outta west coast offense against the people like gibs who bring everyone in the box but zone up behind it so they have gap integrity but are dropping into coverage anyway i can run on it from a set in the west coast offense i like running the far twins formation

can i get a way to stop four verticals by way of zone it seams they just pass lead through the zones also help stopping the auto motion streaks to the hb outta singleback bunch close its a hidden set i cant remember what book its in but it has an auto motion streak may look in a custom book and u can see it they auto motion streak cobb at rb and nelson streaks and hes the left side solo receiver

hey guys love the show! I’m new to madden in the competitive sense and love the dime defense but I am struggling to find a way to apply pressure without being vulnerable in the secondary. Any tips?

What is your go to route combination in a 3rd and long(10-15 yards)situation in which you know the opponent is going to go in a drop zone like a Cover 4 or Quarters Zone type situation?
Could go over one that would beat a MLB user that covers the deep middle of the field manually…
-and-
Could you go over one that would beat a FS user that would try and roam the field from the left hash.
Sorry for such a detailed question, but looking to see some better options in these scenerios.

I would call 4 verticals and streak the HB out of the backfield. I would throw an OUT to whatever side wasn’t usered. I would throw the the HB if he users the safety and I would hit the out to the left if he was MLB.

Whats the best way to contain the edge run? (Players like Lesean McCoy, Jamal Charles, Darren McFadden) I can tear on the offensive side but I’m losing the TOP battle, I can usually still win but would feel alot more comfortable if I could stop the run and play a little more conservatively as oppossed to having to put quick scores up before half time of the end of the game. Any Suggestions?

I find myself losing games i think I should be winning not because of play calling or my bad usering lol but because of the “GAME” it seems like every time it’s time for my guys to make a play they dont i mean dropped interceptions getting burned deep n a 2man under shell,onside recovery i mean nothing goes right not to mention my struggles on offense what can I do………FRUSTRATED!

Nascar doesn’t do much other than sub in a LB at DT. Many of the nickel formations are the same, just not called nascar.

in the 46 playbook i have nickel wii but it doesnt get me that pass rush i was watching i believe TWIM 77 or 76 and yall talked about NASCAR or it could of been Wide 9 im not sure but yall reblitz the ends and they were just geting of the blockers

see i run 46 playbook on D and the cover 4 from the 46 normal seems to do the trick especially if you are expecting a slant and the yellows play pretty good against the curls all u have to do is watch the RB n the flats what i like to do is put one of the DE’s in a flat zone depending on if its a Shotgun or UC play
