 One of the critical jobs that we have as a Madden Strategy site is to make sure that our members get what they need to help their games. In order to do that, I have staffers comb just about every Madden related forum in existence to find trouble spots that are affecting the community.
One of the problem areas that kept coming up on our radar was players having difficulty putting the ball in the endzone in Red Zone situations.

"One day I was at a Madden Tourney watching one of the guys in my crew play a top player. The game was a high scoring affair that came down to one key drive. The guy in my crew got into the red zone. He had 4 shots and lost the game. The problem was that while his offense was unstoppable, he didn't have anything for the red zone.
I should have caught on to this when we used to lab in the basement. I have seen him and others players take a sack just to make room to score in the red zone. When the game was over we would sit around and go over things so that when we head out to the next tourney we would be prepared.
A veteran in my crew laid him out and said to me that we needed to lab red zone plays. This caught me off guard, but he was right. Over 90% of madden players never ever lab Red Zone Offense."
